It’s the first episode of floox plays The Last of Us. Welcome! Although this is my fourth time playing the game, this is a spoiler-free playthrough. If you’re looking for a refresher or an introduction to this franchise before The Last of Us Part II launches on June 19th, you’ve come to the right place.

The Last of Us is an action-adventure game by Naughty Dog that originally released on PlayStation 3 in 2013. The PlayStation 4 later received a remastered version, which is the version this Let’s Play features. The game follows Joel and Ellie as they trek across the United States to deliver the cure to a devastating outbreak of cordyceps, a virus that turns people into mad, flesh hungry, fungal zombies. The duo will have to grapple with that and much worse as they make their journey through a beautiful-yet-deadly world.
